Woman killed by grandson

LAHORE: A woman was shot dead by her grandson in the Nawankot area on Friday. The victim was identified as Fateh Bibi of Tariq Colony, Sodiwal, Nawankot. Accused Zahid had nursed grudge against his grandmother after she refused to give him money for business purpose. Police have removed the body to morgue and registered a murder case against the accused. 

found dead: A eunuch was found dead in his house at Harbanspura on Friday. The deceased was identified as Dilshad. Some unidentified persons killed the victim in his house with a sharp-edged weapon. Police have removed the body to mortuary.

stabbed to death: A 25-year-old drug addict was stabbed to death by another addict near Data Darbar on Friday.

Police said that the victim, yet to be identified, was stabbed and wounded by another addict over an unknown issue. The unidentified assailant escaped from the scene. The victim succumbed to his wounds in hospital. Police have removed the body to morgue and registered a murder case. 

accidents: Three motorcyclists were killed in different road accidents on Friday. 

An 18-year-old bike rider, identified as Amir, resident of Kot Lakhpat, died after falling from a flyover in the Kot Lakhpat area. He lost control of his speeding bike, rammed into a fence and fell off the flyover. He was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

A 20-year-old bike rider died after being hit by a crane near Gujjarpura Ring Road Underpass. He was identified as Kamran of Shadbagh.

A 40-year-old bike rider was killed by a rashly-driven car in the Manga Mandi area.

Police have removed the bodies to mortuary.
