Islamabad: Meteorological Department of Pakistan predicts on Sunday a three-day countrywide rain spell with snowfall over the hills next 48 hours.
Partly cloudy weather conditions with light rain and snowfall over the hills are expected at isolated places of Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat, Bannu, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Quetta, Zhob divisions, Islamabad, Gilgit and Kashmir. Islamabad received a drizzle on Sunday morning.
Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning Islamabad and Lahore 9 degree centigrade, Karachi 21, Peshawar 10, Quetta 6, Gilgit 1, Murree 2 and Muzaffarabad 5 degree centigrade.
Rain likely in Punjab, KP, Balochistan. Met Office says a westerly wave has entered into Pakistan and is expected to persist in upper parts of the country till Tuesday. It will bring rains and snowfall over the hills in lower Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, north Balochistan, South Punjab and upper Sindh.
