DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Unidentified gunmen on Monday shot dead a doctor, police said. They said that the gunmen riding a bike intercepted a doctor identified as Sher Zaman on the Chudhwan Road and shot him dead.
The gunmen reportedly snatched cash and bike from the slain doctor and escaped. The police lodged a case on the complaint of the brother of the slain doctor Ahmad Sultan and started investigation.
Ahmad Sultan said the family had no enmity. Meanwhile, the relatives and neighbours of the slain doctor put the body in front of the Chudhwan Police Station and staged a protest. They were chanting slogans against the police and demanded arrest of the accused.
