PARIS: Cycling will be part of the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics, despite initially being left off the list of sports due to an administrative oversight, the International Cycling Union (UCI) confirmed on Saturday.
“Cycling will be part of the Paralympic programme where it has been part of the Games for more than 30 years, dating back to the 1984 Los Angeles Games,” the UCI underlined, approving the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) decision. The Tokyo Paralympics will run from August 25 to September 6.
