HYDERABAD: Five persons of a family died and four were injured in a road accident between a mini-truck and a rickshaw in Sehwan, Jamshoro district, on Sunday.
According to Sehwan police SHO, the accident took place near Laki Shah Saddar. A goods transporting mini-truck rammed into a rickshaw, killing five persons on the spot.
The police said impact of the accident was so strong that it left the rickshaw completely pressed. The hospital sources informed that the deceased belonged to Karachi. They have been identified as Ahmed, 45, Nasir, 40, Salma, 30, Maryam, 19 and Ghazi, 4.
The mini-truck’s driver and cleaner were injured in the accident and shifted to the Taluka Hospital Sehwan. The accident’s FIR has not been registered till the filing of this report.
