The solar and lunar eclipses will take place next month. However, the lunar eclipse will be partially seen from Pakistan, while the solar eclipse will not be visible.
According to the Climate Data Processing Centre of the Pakistan Meteorological Department, partial eclipse of moon will happen on August 7 and 8 and will be visible from Pakistan like the western Pacific Ocean, Australasia, Africa and most of Europe.
The penumbral lunar eclipse will begin at 20:50 on August 7 and partial eclipse at 22:23 before the greatest eclipse happening at 23:20. The partial eclipse will end at 00:18 on August 8 and penumbral eclipse at 01:51 the same day.
As for solar eclipse, it will be seen from North Pacific, US and South Atlantic on August 20 and 21 but will not be visible from Pakistan. Earlier in the year, February 11 to be precise, penumbral lunar eclipse was seen from Pakistan.
