ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif’s daughter Maryam Nawaz and NAB Chairman Qamar Zaman Chaudhry will today (Wednesday) appear before the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) probing the PanamaLeaks.
Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Arsala Saleem will accompany Maryam. She will be questioned about the dependency, estates owned by her and Sharif family and exchange of gifts worth millions of rupees.
She will be the sixth member of the Sharif family to appear before the JIT formed on May 6 in the light of the Supreme Court’s April 20 judgment in the PanamaLeaks case.NAB Chairman Qamar Zaman Chaudhry will appear before the JIT at 2:00pm. He has been summoned by the JIT in the Hudaibya Paper Mills case.
