Labourer electrocuted
LAHORE :A 42-year-old labourer was electrocuted during construction work in the North Cantt area on Sunday. The victim, yet to be identified, was working at a construction site when he accidentally came in contact with high tension wires, resulting into his death. The body has been removed to morgue.
PHP: Punjab Highway Patrol (PHP) claimed to have arrested 121 criminals. PHP teams arrested 121 criminals, including 24 procliamed offenders (POs) and four court absconders. PHP seized 1,020 litre liquor, 7,760 gram charas, 10 Kg hemp, six rifles, two Kalashnikovs, 19 magazines and 536 bullets from their possession. PHP teams reunited 12 children; Khalid, Fatima, Hamid Mahmood, Allah Dad, Fatima, M Irfan, M Adnan, Maham, Sahrish, M Nazim, safia and M Arif; with their parents. PHP teams also rendering help to 5,663 road users.
