NAWABSHAH: Former president and Co-chairman Pakistan People's Party Asif Ali Zardari has said that Nawaz Sharif should have got outraged over the decisions of Donald Trump and Narendar Modi but he is busy saving his government. He further said that they had earlier saved the country and would save it in the future as well.
On Friday, during his visit to Naursheroferoz, while addressing the Bhiryacity ceremony, he said that Trump and Modi were issuing threats to Pakistan, while the prime minister was busy saving Marriyum and his government. He said that Trump and Modi were trying to isolate Pakistan worldwide but the People's Party would save the country and would become successful in this regard. He said that the world had become a global village and Nawaz Sharif’s actions were no longer hidden now.
He said that it were they who felt the pain for Sindh and the entire country, not Nawaz Sharif. He said that the prime minister’s acts cannot hide now as he had been trapped in a blind alley. He further said that Nawaz Sharif was a thankless person, adding that if they had not abolished 58-2B and the condition of becoming the prime minister for the third time, Nawaz Sharif would have been either president today or President Mamnoon Hussain would have sent him home.
He said that they would be successful in the upcoming elections, adding that the activists should get ready for the coming elections. He said that he would disclose the future course of action after the announcement of the decision by the JIT. "Those criticizing us should think that today democracy and parliament are surviving in the country because of us."
He said that the Pakistan People's Party would win with a majority in the coming general elections. In the ceremony, Mola Bux Mudibo, after putting an end to his 50-year affiliation with the NPP, joined the PPP.
