Display of arms banned in Haripur

HARIPUR: The district police officer (DPO) here on Saturday banned the display of arms for two days in the limits of the district.
According to a press release, DPO Syed Shahzad Nadim Bukhari prohibited the display of arms and ammunition and aerial firing across the district.
The order was issued under Section-86 of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police Act 2017 and it would remain in force from June 24 to 25. Anyone violating the ban would be dealt with under Section-108 (2) of the same act.
