Jamaat-e-Islami ameer Senator Sirajul Haq has said the differences among Muslim countries and their conflicts are badly damaging the interests of Muslim Ummah besides benefitting enemies of Islam.
Speaking at the oath-taking ceremony of Jamaat-e-Islami Youth Wing, Lahore at Mansoora on Tuesday, Sirajul Haq said there was a dire need to resolve the tension and conflicts among the Gulf countries through mutual contacts.
He appreciated the offer from Kuwait and Turkey for mediation between Saudi Arabia and Qatar to resolve the conflict and expressed the hope that the both sides would avail this opportunity. He said that only the Islam’s enemies would benefit from the policy of boycott. Sirajul Haq said the eyes of Trump administration were on the vast resources of Muslim countries.
He said the increasing interference of the Trump administration in the Gulf was an alarm bell and it must be effectively checked.
