Panic grips DGK on reports of terrorists’ ‘presence’

DERA GHAZI KHAN: Panic gripped the city after reports of the entry of five terrorists into the city and heavy contingent of police force in the city on Tuesday.
The police sealed a populated area and continuing the search of the terrorists till the filing of the report.
Parents rushed to schools to pick their kids schools closing hours.
An official of local passport office Chaudhry Muhammad Alam, of Khayaban e Sarwar informed the police on police helpline that five masked gunmen barged into his house and demanded shelter. He the gunmen left the house when his family members raised a hue and cry and attracted neighbours’ attention.
The police force led by SP Abdul Raheem Sheerazi rushed to the spot and sealed the area.
More police officers reached the spot and launched the search operation.
The SP told reporters that sketches of the gunmen who were without masks will be formed.
The owner of the house told reporters that the gunmen were conversing with each other in Pashto and they took oath from them not to share the issue with police. However, his ten-year-old daughter informed the police.
