ISLAMABAD: Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt on Tuesday called on King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa at Safriya Palace in Manama, Bahrain.Both the dignitaries underlined the importance of exchanging such visits and maintaining consultation and coordination to further promote cordial between the two brotherly countries.
The regional and international issues of common concern were also discussed at length, said a press release issued by PAF here. The King welcomed the Air Chief and conveyed his greetings to the Pakistani president and prime minister as well as his best wishes for the progress and prosperity of Pakistani people.
The King expressed his satisfaction on the level of brotherly relations and bilateral cooperation in various fields. He also expressed Bahrain’s keenness to further boost cooperation with Pakistan in the field of defence in general and Air force in particular.The Chief of the Air Staff is on an official visit to Bahrain on the special invitation of Royal Bahrain Air Force.
