Since the first day of Ramazan, the electricity crisis in country has gone worse. People are having their predawn meals in darkness. Although the authorities had earlier said that there will be no power disruption during Iftar and Sehri, the situation is just the opposite.
Fasting in hot weather and then dealing with power outage have taken a toll on the lives of people. Several people have been reported to have died of heatstroke, but the relevant authorities are silent. The government should resolve the issue at the earliest.
