Nine PML-N Sindh members join PTI
At least nine members of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in Sindh, including its provincial coordination secretary Sardar Muhammad Khan, announced joining the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) at a press conference held at Insaf House on Wednesday.
The PTI Karachi president, Firdous Shamim Naqvi, welcoming the new comers to the party said genuine political workers are frustrated with the corrupt and tyrannical leaders of the PML-N; therefore PTI is a far better choice for them because of its neat and clean politics.
“Corrupt government siphoned public money abroad and it is making the rich richer and the poor, poorer,” Naqvi said.
The PTI district president further said that his party under the leadership of Imran Khan has been campaigning against corruption of ruling PML-N and mobilising the people for it. “Very soon, we will be successful,” he said.
Sardar Muhammad Khan said the PML-N does not respect its workers because of its ‘badshahi’ politics. “The PML-N workers from Karachi to Obaro are frustrated. “This is the reason that we joined the PTI, showing our confidence on pro-poor leader Imran Khan,” he said.
Besides Khan, others who joined the PTI were Imran Awan, Usman Shah, Azam Arbab, Abdul Razzaq Baloch, Malik Khalid Awan, Nawaz Ali Baloch, Raja Qaiser and Haji Ghulam Qadir.
Sardar Abdul Aziz, the PTI Karachi secretary general, spokesperson Dawa Khan Sabir, other leaders Naveed Kalmati and Nisar Awan were also present at the presser.
