GUJRANWALA: Activists and supporters of the Jamaat-e-Islami, the Sunni Tehreek and Anjuman-e-Tajran Monday held a joint rally against publication of blasphemous sketches. The participants were carrying placards and banners, and raised slogans against the French government.
The participants marched GT Road and gathered at Gondlanwala crossing. They demanded the government sever ties with France and close its embassy.
Meanwhile, the metal works association also held a rally at Sheikhupura Road and raised slogans against the French government.
FAULT IN PASSPORT OFFICE SYSTEM: The computer system of the Passport office, Gurjnawala, reportedly developed a fault and it was closed for the public on Monday. The office will provide facilities to the visitors after rectification of the fault.
