FAISALABAD: The skeleton of a landlady, who went missing 11 years ago, was recovered during reconstruction of her house at Manzoor Park in Sargodha Road police limits.
Relatives of landlady Chiragh Bibi told police she had gone missing about 11 years ago. They said that they razed the house for reconstruction some days ago. They said that the skeleton of Chiragh Bibi was recovered when the labourers were busy in digging work. They alleged that Chiragh Bibi was murdered by her tenant Faryad Ali 11 years ago and he buried her in the house. They said that Chiragh Bibi had expelled Faryad out of the house as she doubted that he had stolen her valuables. Police have registered a murder case against Faryad Ali and started investigation.

FAISALABAD: The journalists colony will be set up in addition to the Endowment Fund so that the journalists should discharge their duties in congenial and improvised atmosphere, said Punjab former law minister Rana Sanaullah.
Addressing the Faisalabad Press Club and the Faisalabad Union of Journalists office-bearers here on Sunday night, he said that the project was in lurch due to rift among various groups of Faisalabad journalists, but now they were united and he would try his best to get the project approved. He urged them to prepare a list of journalists in consultation with the Public Relations deputy director. He assured that he would arrange a meeting of the Faisalabad Press Club delegation with Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif in a week in this regard.
Rana Sanaullah said that the Novelty Bridge incident had become crystal clear as the joint investigation team had discharged him, State Minister Abid Sher Ali, MPA Tahir Jamil, Rana Sheharyar and the DCO from the case after acquiring mobile data, which did not show their presence at the incident place. Speaking on the occasion, press club president Shahid Ali suggested that a block of the FDA City should be allocated for the journalists.
