Girl killed over marriage issue From Our Correspondent KASUR: A girl was killed while her brother and sister were injured over a marriage dispute at Tara Gurh village on Sunday. Muhammad Abbas and accused Fiaz Ahmed had a marriage dispute. On the day of the incident, accused Fiaz and his accomplices entered the house of Muhammad Abbas and allegedly opened fire at the family members. As a result, Umtal (17) was killed on the spot while Shafqat Bibi and her brother Akbar sustained injuries. MAN KILLED, 5 INJURED IN ACCIDENTS: A man was killed while five others sustained injuries in separate road accidents here on Sunday. Abdul Rasheed, Abdul Majeed and Ashfaq were on their way by a bike when it collided with a tractor-trolley on Khem Kern Road near Dhoop Sari. As a result, Abdul Hameed died on the spot while Ashfaq and Abdul Rasheed sustained injuries. In another incident, SI Ibrar Hussain and his three friends were on their way to Okara by a car when a speeding truck hit their car at Pattoki Toll Plaza. As a result, all three car riders were injured. MAN BOOKED FOR MURDERING WIFE: On the orders of the Lahore High Court, Phoolnagar police on Sunday booked a man for killing his wife. Munira Bibi was reported to commit suicide by shooting herself dead over a domestic issue at Baihram village six months ago. However, the family of Munira had doubted on the death of Munira. Later, Irshad Bibi, the mother of Munira, filed a petition in the High Court in which she alleged that Munira’s husband Niaz Ahmad along with his brother had shot dead her daughter. After hearing the case, the court ordered the police to register a case against Niaz Ahmad and his brother.
