Settled

There is huge hue and cry in the media about the Pakistan Army withdrawing an earlier tweet which had rejected the PM’s notification regarding the Dawn Leaks. The attitude of a few media personalities is strange. Now when the two institutions have reconciled, they are not happy again. Now that the issue has been settled, hawks in media and political parties are making a mountain out of a molehill.
The army’s interest is in the best interest of the country, keeping in view the geopolitics situation Pakistan is in. Amid tensions in Indian-held Kashmir and increasing tensions Afghanistan and Iran almost threatening Pakistan, clash between the prime minister and the Pakistan Army was the last thing Pakistan needed.
