Association of Educators for World Peace holds meeting

International Association of Educators for World Peace (IAEWP) Pakistan held its first meeting at Islamabad Club under the Chairmanship of Dr. N. M Larik, chancellor of IAEWP for Pakistan, says a press release.
The introduction of the vice presidents from different provinces was presented by the Secretary-General, Pakistan Chapter, Agha M. Pathan. The keynote address was delivered by Chancellor of IAEWP, Pakistan, Professor Dr. N. M Larik.
The vice presidents participated in the meeting were; Noor Muhammad Pathan, secretary general/vice-president of Sindh; Professor Dr. Maqsudul Hassan Nuri, vice-president for Pakistan, Hafeez Khan , vice-president Punjab; Dr. Haneef Khalil, vice-president, KP; Panah Baloch, vice president Balochistan (participated online).
The proposals discussed and approved in the meeting were: Registration of IAEWP in Pakistan will be processed in the next three months; webpage of the Pakistan Chapter will be displayed on the Facebook; list of members will be compiled in different provinces of Pakistan; in the next month a seminar on peace and education in Pakistan will be organised in Islamabad; book launching on education awareness for peace will be organised in different provinces; articles on peace, education and harmony will be written in different newspapers/periodicals of Pakistan in English, Urdu, Pashto, Balochi, Saraiki and Sindhi languages; initially, financial expenditure for gatherings/ seminars will be contributed by members through mutual sharing and all presidents welcomed the start of activities of IAEWP for interfaith harmony and promoting awareness of Education for Peace. The meeting ended with vote of thanks to the chair by the secretary general on behalf of all members.
