KARACHI: A high-profile delegation of 13 businessmen from the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) has left for Morocco. The purpose of the visit is to increase the bilateral trade between both countries.
The said delegation is headed by FPCCI Senior Vice President Aamir Bajwa and FPCCI Vice President Ishtiaq Baig. The delegation will have meeting with Moroccan Federation of Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Mustapha Amhal and other members of his team. Pakistani Ambassador to Morocco Nadir Chaudhri and Commercial Counselor Waqas Azeem will also join the talks.
The delegation will sign a memorandum of joint business council between both federations. The Pakistani businessmen will also have B2B meetings with Moroccan businessmen.
The said delegation will visit the Islamic Centre for Development of Trade and will meet Director General Dr Hazaine El Hassane and his team. The delegation will also meet the head of the General Confederation of Enterprises of Morocco.
During their stay in Morocco, the delegation will visit Marrakesh and will have meetings with the Marrakesh Chamber and will meet the Governor of Marrakesh. This is the first time that an FPCCI delegation is visiting Morocco. Morocco is considered to be an emerging market and a gateway to Africa.
