PM, COAS discuss Leaks issue, security situation

ISLAMABAD: Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa held a meeting with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Thursday night, Geo News reported on Friday. The report while quoting sources said that the DawnLeaks issue and the security situation in the country were discussed during the meeting, which was held in a pleasant atmosphere. The confusion created after a Tweet of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) and subsequent statement of Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan was removed during the meeting. The sources said Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif was not present in the meeting, nor he played any role in arranging the meeting.
