Karachi Whites beat Hyderabad in U19 one-day tournament

KARACHI: Karachi Whites defeated Hyderabad by six wickets in their match of the Inter-Region Under-19 One-day Cricket tournament at Diamond Club Ground, Islamabad, on Sunday.

Hyderabad were bowled out for 195 in 48.5 overs. Mohammad Suleman hit 58 off 75 balls with four fours and one six.

Saud Jafri belted 41 with four fours, while Saad Khan made 37. Arish Ali Khan got 4-28, while Muhammad Usman and Muhammad Taha picked three wickets each.

Karachi Whites chased the target in 35.5 overs after losing four wickets.

Umair Yousuf smashed 65 with seven fours. Sufyan Khan belted 43 with six fours. Muhammad Hasnain got 3-38.

At Marghzar Ground, Islamabad, Bahawalpur defeated Azad Jammu and Kashmir by 33 runs.

Bahawalpur perished for 229 in 47.3 overs with Muzammil Ahmed blasting 74 with nine fours and one six. He faced 89 balls.

Muhammad Junaid belted 44 with five fours. Zohaib Bukhari got 4-51, while Usama Fazil captured 2-33.

AJK were folded for 196 with Zohaib Bukhari scoring 71 off 106 balls, hitting eight fours.

Muhammad Junaid claimed 5-38, while Faisal Siddique took 2-19. Here at National Stadium, Lahore Blues overpowered Abbottabad by 42 runs.

Lahore Region scored 210 all out in 47.1 overs with Rizwan Siddique scoring 40 with three fours. Zaid Alam belted 40 off 44 balls, hitting five fours and one six.

Muhammad Arif got 4-18, while Muhammad Hamza and Abrar Ahmed captured two wickets each.

Abbottabad perished for 168 with Anees Azam making 61 and Muhammad Arif 43. Zaid Alam and Ahmer Jalil got three wickets.

Here at UBL Sports Complex, Karachi Blues defeated Peshawar by four wickets.

Peshawar made 207 in 43.3 overs with Azam Khan scoring 74 and Salman Khan 39. Ashar Quershi got 4-36, while Nadir Shah took 3-47.

Karachi Blues achieved the target in 48.2 overs with Haider Ali scoring 103 not out.

Azam Khan claimed 3-38.
