Man found dead in Pak Colony
The body of a 24-year-old man was found in a compound located near Bismillah Hotel, Pak Colony, on Monday.
SHO Pak Colony Abdullah Bhutto said the police was informed on helpline about a body spotted in the Pathan Compound situated near Bismillah Hotel. A police party attended the scene, preserved evidences, and moved the body to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for a post-mortem.
The SHO said the autopsy report confirmed that the deceased was tortured before he was strangled to death. He said two suspects, who were Bengalis, had been taken into custody from the compound and a probe had been initiated. SHO Bhutto said the identity of the deceased was yet to be ascertained. Later on, the body was shifted to Edhi Morgue for want of identification.
