The Kashmir issue
By our correspondents
April 20, 2017
The violence in Kashmir is increasing has escalated to new heights. The Indian army used a ‘human shield’ to disperse protestors away. The Indian government has already allowed the army and the police to shoot the people in Indian-held Kashmir with rubber or plastic bullets. This issue must be raised on every international platform available. Even after 70 years, the Kashmir issue still remains unresolved.
The Kashmiri people deserve to live in peace and harmony. The Indian government is trying different tactics to warn Kashmiris not to protest against the occupation. The international community must take immediate action to resolve this issue. This cruel game of bloodshed should be stopped at the earliest.
