Pakistan Justice and Democratic Party’s head and former Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhary said on Saturday that the corrupt would be held accountable in the Panama case.
The former chief also termed the Panama case God’s blessings, saying that they would help cleanse the country of corrupt people. He expressed these views while addressing a press conference in Lahore. The former chief said that there was no law which could bind the SC that for how long it could reserve a verdict. He also appreciated Chairman Senate Raza Rabbani for his offer to step down and showing dismay over the non-serious and irresponsible behavior of ministers. —Correspondent
