Police arrest two in boy murder case
PESHAWAR: The police on Wednesday arrested two people in a molestation-cum-murder case of a young boy.
The police said Usman and Noman were arrested during raids. The boy was killed after alleged molestation in Surizai area a few days ago.An official said the boy went missing while on way back from a local mosque where he used to go to learn the Holy Quran. Later, his body was found in fields near a local shrine.
The police said that the arrested accused confessed to have molested the boy and then killed him so that he could not tell his family about the act.Meanwhile, Senior Superintendent of Police Operations Sajjad Khan told reporters that the cops in Paharipura arrested two members of a gang of motorcycle snatchers. Besides, a robbery case has also been worked out and one of the robbers was arrested and the looted gold and cash recovered.
