JI to field candidates from all constituencies of Rawalpindi

Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) has announced to field candidates from all constituencies of Rawalpindi district in the next general elections.
This was stated by JI ameer district Rawalpindi (rural) Shamsur Rehman Swati while addressing a training camp organised for Jamaat workers at Qurtaba City near Rawalpindi.
JI general secretary for Rawalpindi district Raja Muhammad Jawad, naib ameer Muhammad Waqas Khan and President Al Khidmat Rawalpindi Muhammad Taj Abbasi were also present on the occasion.
The JI leader said the party has started preparations for the coming general elections and soon camps will be set up at different places to establish contacts with masses while some measures would also be taken to resolve issues concerning the common man.
He said that Jamaat has been struggling for the enforcement of Shariat and in this connection, the founder of JI Maulana Maudidi gathered Ulema from schools of thought for passage of the Objective Resolution.
