PESHAWAR: The local chairman of the Sikh Committee of Pakistan has said that the death sentence awarded to the Indian spy Kulbushan Jadhav was justified as he was involved in acts of sabotage and subversion in Pakistan.
In a statement, Radesh Singh Tony said the Sikh community in Pakistan has welcomed the military court’s judgement awarding death penalty to Kulbushan Jadhav. He argued that Indian spy deserved the punishment as death sentence was reserved for traitors, including foreigners who work as spies in another country.
