I want to draw the attention of the UN Commission on Human Rights to the crisis in Syria. The US strike against the Syrian airbase violates the American constitution as well as the international law. The UN appears powerless in the face of US aggression. The US launched a military strike against Syria, a few days after a deadly chemical attack on civilians. It was the first direct military action the US took against Syria during its six-year civil war.
It is the duty of the UN to make an impartial inquiry into the launch of chemical warfare in Syria and condemn the US for this act of aggression against a sovereign state.
