On March 4, I travelled from Karachi to Lahore via a new private airline and noted that there was no life jacket under my seat even though the sticker on the back of food tray stated it was. I lodged a complaint with the crew and was given a generic message: “Thank you for the feedback, we have received your reviews and we would like to see you again”.
On April 7, I used the same airline to travel domestically and once again, there was no life jacket under my seat. The passengers sitting on the adjacent seats also told me that there were no life jackets under their seats. The complaint has been lodged again. Negligence of this sort is criminal. I request the Civil Aviation Authority and other officials to take note of this serious flaw in the safety on airplanes.
