The spokesman for the Sindh Rangers said soldiers conducted an intelligence-based raid on the Government Primary School in 100 Quarters, Saeedabad, Baldia Town.
During the search, they found a huge cache of weapons hidden in the water tank of the school building by miscreants belonging to the MQM-London Secretariat. The seized arms and ammunition were three 7mm rifles, two 30-bore pistols, two 12-bore repeaters, a 44-bore rifle, two 22-bore rifles, three submachine guns and thousands of bullets.
The spokesman said miscreants intended to use the weapons to create uncertainty and target killings in the city.

The weapons found were two light machineguns, a sniper rifle, three Kalashnikovs, three Kalakovs and a G-3 rifle. Explosive material was also seized during the swoop.
