E-ticketing fully launched on Murree Expressway

National Highways & Motorway Police (N-5 North Zone) DIG Abbas Ahsan has said that e-ticketing has been fully launched on Murree Expressway whereas current year, the system will be launched throughout the N-5 North Zone on GT Road, from Peshawar to Kala Shah Kaku, says a press release.
While talking to the participants of the operational conference here at DIG office Motorway Chowk Islamabad, DIG Motorway Police N-5 North Zone Abbas Ahsan that indiscriminate enforcement must be ensured to maintain traffic discipline on GT Road.
He stressed upon the officers to adopt the attitude of integrity, courtesy, honesty and provision of meaningful and prompt help to the road users in distress so they could not feel them alone in trouble. DIG further added that removal of all types of encroachment from GT Road will be ensured so that free flow of traffic and reduction in ratio of accidents due to encroachment could be reduced.
He also added that operational command and control rooms will be established at earliest in DIG office as well as in SSP offices of North Zone to monitor all road traffic related activities on G.T Road and working has been started in this regard. This will help to collect timely information so that remedial measures could be adopted accordingly.
DIG Abbas Ahsan further informed that accident investigation units would be established in all the sectors of North zone to investigate the causes of each accident and to submit remedial measures.
