FAST University holds job fair

The annual job fair for the year 2017 of FAST - National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, (FAST-NU) was held here of the Islamabad Campus, on Wednesday, says a press release. This event was organised for the placement of graduating students of BS & MS (Computer Science), BS (Electrical Engineering) and BBA, BS A&F & MBA.
Dr. Arshad Ali Shahid, Director Islamabad Campus, in his welcome address said that this year the Islamabad Campus is sending around 392 students into the industry. Of these 140 are from BS Computer Science and 40 from MS Computer Science, while 90 students are getting their BS degree in Electrical Engineering. Graduating batch also includes 62 students from BBA, 35 Students from BS (A&F) and 25 from MBA, the Department of Management Sciences.
Senior Management representatives of more than 110 prestigious national and multinational companies from all over Pakistan participated in the event. They observed and evaluated students’ projects and also interviewed the graduating students for possible hiring/recruitment to their organizations.
