MNA blasts Kurram Agency admin
PARACHINAR: Member National Assembly Sajid Hussain Turi on Sunday criticised the political administration for failing to prevent terrorist attack in Kurram Agency.
Speaking at a press conference along with other tribal elders, the parliamentarian from Kurram Agency said that the loss of 25 precious lives in the blast was the failure of the administration.
He alleged that officials of the political administration were busy in corruption and had no interest in serving masses. He asked the National Accountability Bureau to start probe into the embezzlement in funds for Kurram Agency.
Sajid Hussain Turi said that tribespeople had expressed concern over the governor’s secret visit to Kurram Agency after the blast. He termed the secret visit as a failure of the federal government and declared the Rs10 million compensation package for the victims as insufficient.
