LAHORE
The 8th annual reunion of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Alumni Association was held at the varsity’s city campus.
Former Principal, College of Veterinary Science (CVS) Captain (r) Dr Muhammad Ashfaq, an elderly UVAS alumnus, chaired the reunion function, in which alumni from across Pakistan and AJK participated in large numbers. Musical chair, races, tug-of-war, musical performance and skits featured the event.
In his address, Dr Muhammad Ashfaq lauded the performance of UVAS especially its quality of education. He prayed for the progress and prosperity of the country.
UVAS Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Talat Naseer welcomed the guests and the alumni and thanked them for participating in the annual get-together.
