Governor stresses unity for stability
LAHORE
Punjab Governor Rafique Rajwana has said all the political parties should speak as one voice over the national interest, progress and stability of the country.
The governor stated this while talking to MNA Hamza Shahbaz Sharif who called on him at the Governor’s House on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, Rafique Rajwana said under the present government, the country was back on the track of success and institutions were also strengthening.
Hamza Shahbaz on the occasion said the nation must be credited for rejecting the political parties having the agenda of misleading others. He praised Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for his role as a national leader who believed in promoting positive traits in politics.
He said the PML-N government was committed to serving people of Southern Punjab and was taking all possible measures to bring prosperity in that region. Hamza said the government had also launched several mega projects in Southern Punjab.
