He was speaking at a seminar on financial consumer protection organised by the SBP under the auspices of SAARC Finance in Islamabad, a statement said.
The SBP governor emphasised that enhancing consumer protection in banks eventually promotes competition in the industry and it has positive linkages with financial stability and financial inclusion.
