People suffer as petrol shortage continues From Our Correspondent GUJRANWALA: People have been facing several problems due to shortage of petrol for the last one week in the district and adjoining areas. Talking to newsmen here on Sunday, the people said that the filling stations, which had stock of petrol, were giving Rs 100 petrol to motorcycle owners and Rs 300 to car owners. The car owners said that they had to wait for hours in queues to get Rs 300 petrol. Some of the people said that the shopkeepers were selling petrol on black market at double rate. They have demanded the government take steps to end the fuel shortage to solve their problems.
