NH&MP holds road safety walk

A road safety walk was organised by National Highways and Motorway Police with Federal Government College for Boys, H-9, says a press release.
The walk was organised on the special instructions of DIG Motorways Muhammad Imtiaz Shah to highlight the road safety awareness among the youths and new drivers of the society.
The participants of the walk were holding placards and banners for awareness of road safety. While addressing the participants the officers of NH&MP explained the importance of the road safety i.e. seat belt, helmet, speeding, lane violation, precautions during long journey and other traffic regulations.
Police officials took oath from the participants that they will always obey the traffic rules for their own safety.
The Vice Principal Muhammad Athar appreciated the efforts of the NH&MP in creating activities to highlights road safety issues and said that such activities are very beneficial in development of the society. In the end of the walk, gifts were distributed among the participants.
