Uplift scheme approved
LAHORE
The Punjab government approved an urban development scheme at an estimated cost of Rs707.860 million.
The scheme was approved in the 59th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2016-17 presided over by P&D Chairman Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan.
All members of the Planning & Development Board, provincial secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant provincial departments also attended the meeting.
The approved development scheme was Area Development Scheme No.II Sheikhupura (Revised) at the cost of Rs707.860 million.
Cleanliness: Albayrak Waste Management Company has arranged a one-day cleanliness awareness drive under the ongoing campaign “Har Jagah Hum Samjhain Apna Ghar” in Lorry Adda, UC-09 here on Tuesday. The communications team of Albayrak set up an awareness camp near the administrator office.
