KEMU acting VC appointed

LAHORE
The Punjab government has appointed Prof Dr Asad Aslam Khan as Acting Vice-Chancellor, King Edward Medical University, Lahore, as a stop-gap arrangement until the appointment of Vice-Chancellor, KEMU on regular basis.
The Specialised Healthcare and Medical Education Department, on Monday, issued a notification in this regard.
Earlier, Punjab Governor/Chancellor, in exercise of the powers vested in him under Section 13(9) of the King Edward Medical University, Lahore Act 2005, approved the appointment on the recommendation by the SHC&ME department.
