Pakistan is going through a very tough phase especially with regards to law and order situation. This has affected operations of a lot of organisations. Many embassies in the country have cut down their staff, some have shifted their consular sections to other countries while foreign investors are reluctant to visit Pakistan. This has caused inconvenience to our own people and visitors from abroad as well. The government should focus on the Smart Moves Management, and should devise means to earn recognition on the globe. It needs to provide all sorts of necessities and protection to the diplomats, UN workers, foreign delegates, businessmen, and of course the foreign investors who can conveniently operate and execute their assignments, which ultimately will benefit our country.
The government should allot an amenity plot, which may not be a profitable option because of restricted movement of people in the diplomatic enclave. However, it will ensure the safety of foreigners. The plot should be handed over to a company holding a good track record, performance and quality wise. The subject deluxe hotel should not only serve as a hub for boarding and lodging purposes, but should also promote the positive image of Pakistan across the world. The most important aspect of building the hotel in the diplomatic enclave is that the visitors should feel comfortable and secured. This can also save Islamabad from being paralysed in case of VIP movements or some national level conferences.
