‘PML-N committed to public service’
LAHORE
Punjab Governor Rafique Rajwana on Friday said the PML-N was committed to provide every possible relief to people and the prime minister had ordered special measures in this regard.
Talking to a group of reporters at Governor House, Rafique Rajwana said the entire nation had a clear idea over the fact that in PML-N era, the pace of development and mode of governance was better than previous tenures of other parties. He said special measures had been taken to provide all the basic facilities of life to people at their doorsteps and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was also in regular contact with Punjab chief minister to implement the plan of government regarding public welfare. The governor also said that energy, health and education were top priorities of the government and since assuming power in 2013, it had taken a number of steps to attain improvement in these sectors. Regarding Southern Punjab, he said a number of steps meant to empower and facilitate the residents of this belt of the province had also been taken during last three and a half years.
