ANP to launch awareness campaign for census
The Awami National Party (ANP) has announced it would launch an awareness campaign in connection with the upcoming national population census.
“It is our national responsibility to cooperate in holding the census so that provinces should get their due share according to the population and it should not be sabotaged for the political interests, said the general secretary of the Awami National Party (ANP), Younus Khan Buneri, while addressing a party meeting at the Bacha Khan Centre on Thursday.
He said the ANP would give training to the community so that they could properly fill their forms.
Buneri said that under a planned conspiracy, the deprived communities of the country, especially Pakhtuns, were being deliberately set aside in the parliaments.
The Sindh ANP general secretary said there was something fishy going on in the house count, as the areas mainly populated by Pakhtuns were being ignored.
