TANK: The standing crops were affected when hailstorm and heavy rain hit the district on Wednesday. The Tank city and its adjoining areas, including Kundian circle, Gomal bazaar and other parts of Frontier Region (FR) Tank, received hailstorm and heavy rain early in the day.
Reports received from Mulazi, Tajori, Gulimam and Amakhel revealed that standing crops and orchards were also damaged. Local farmers asked the government to declare the area calamity-hit and announce compensation for them.
