5 convicted terrorists hanged in Kohat
KOHAT: Five militants belonging to Swat and Buner districts and sentenced to death by the military courts were executed at the District Prison in Kohat, official sources said on Wednesday.
Four of them belonged to Swat and one to Buner. The official sources said that the convicted terrorists who were executed include Anwar Ali, resident of Charbagh, Shaukat Ali hailing from Kanjo, Khanadan belonging to Mangoltan, Sabir Shah who was from Kabal, Swat, and Imdadullah, resident of Torwarsak in Buner, had been awarded death sentence by the military courts.
They were involved in attacks on the security forces and other law-enforcers at Swat and Buner in 2009. After being hanged to death, the bodies were shifted to their villages
in Swat and Buner and handed over to their family for burial.
