Karachi Federal Urdu University of Arts Science and Technology Vice Chancellor (FUUAST) Dr Zafar Iqbal has said that research can become a source for industrial promotion and progress. He urged the university’s teachers and students to focus more on research. The VC was addressing the orientation session of MPhil and PhD students held at the university on Saturday. He asserted, “Those nations do progress who mould their higher education and research according to the need of day,” and said that the FUUAST has released special funds to every department for organising more research seminars and conferences. MPhil and PhD classes at the university will start from January 19.
