Rawalpindi: Naib Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Mian Muhammad Aslam has said that JI will continue to strive for corruption-free society to make the country an Islamic welfare state.
He was speaking at leadership training workshop organised by JI Rawalpindi district (rural) for party's youth wing and other sister organisations. JI Rawalpindi district (rural) ameer Shamsur Rehman Swati, general secretary Raja Muhammad Jawad, Zafarul Hasan Joya, Muhammad Waqas Khan, Imtiaz Aslam and others also addressed participants of the workshop.
He said Jamaat's leadership needed to activate youth of the country to join the party and struggle for progress of the country. Mian Aslam said that Jamaat would hold a countrywide 'Khushhal Pakistan Fund Raising' campaign from March 1 to 15 with an aim to spend on progress of an Islamic state like Pakistan. "Like this fund-raising campaign, we never keep our activities secret," the JI central leader said.
