GUJRANWALA: All government and private schools were opened after adopting security arrangements as directed by the government here on Monday.
Talking here, District Monitoring Officer Amanullah said that the Education Department had placed 185 schools of public sector and 64 of private sector in ‘A’ Category. He told that security arrangements were completed in 164 government schools of ‘A’ Category while work on the security of 21 schools was in progress. Likewise, he added, out of 64 private schools of ‘A’ Category, security measures were completed in 42 schools while work on security arrangements in 22 schools was in process. He said that the Education Department teams were visiting schools and issuing warning to them regarding security arrangements.
